Northeast Frontier Railway Scouts and Guides Recruitment 2014 (12 Vacancies)

Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) Recruitment against Scouts & Guides Quota for the Year 2014-2015. Prescribed format of applications are invited from eligible candidates for Scout/Guide Quota vacancy of Group D posts for fill up total 12 Vacancies. The last date for submission of application is 15th September 2014.

Scouts & Guides Quota (Grade Pay Rs.1800/-)	10	Matriculation or ITI or equivalent.
Scouts & Guides Quota (Grade Pay Rs.1900/-)	02	At least Matriculation or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Not applicable to SC/ST candidates and all other candidates (irrespective of community) who possess higher qualification - such as HSC/Intermediate/ Graduation/Post Graduation etc.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- for all posts.

Scout & Guide Experience:

(a) Must be a President\'s Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge Holder OR A Pre-HWB Trained Scout Leader/ Advanced Trained Guide/ Leader/ Captain.
(b) Should have been an active member of Scouts Organization for at least 3 years in the recent past and should continue to be active i.e. from April 2010 onwards.
(c) Should have attended at least one event at National Level and one or two events
at State Level OR Should have a good record of participation in Scouts/ Guides activities at Unit/ District Level.

Selection Process: Written Test (50 Marks), Scout & Guide qualification (35 Marks), Personality Test/Interview (15 Marks).

How To Apply: Completed Applications along with copies of certificates regarding age, qualification, etc. - all duly attested by a Gazetted Officer should be enclosed along with the application, Two self-addressed envelopes (size 24cm x 10cm) with Rs. 6/- postage stamp affixed on each envelope and sent along with the application (SC/ST candidates need not send such envelopes) reach to respective divisions (check out official Notification) by 17:30 hours on or before 15/09/2014. (Last date for candidates residing in Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti Districts, Pangi Sub-Division in Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Lakshadweep and abroad, is 25/09/2014). The top of the envelope containing the application should clearly indicate "APPLICATION AGAINST SCOUTS & GUIDES QUOTA, E. N. No. 01/2014: COMMUNITY:____"
